And at the triangular opening where the railing meets the top step, it cannot allow the passage of a 6" sphere. Please make sure the span between two structural posts does not exceed 4ft. If the span between any two structural posts is increased to 7ft, you’ll need a structural post every 8 feet with an intermediate space every 4ft between structural posts.
